As Managing Director of Financial Consulting for SimiTree, Michael Simione heads a team of financial experts whose work leads the nation each year in the number of cost reports prepared for Medicare-certified hospice agencies. In addition,he also collaborates with SimiTree’s growth and operational teams to assist hospice agencies with strategic planning and operational assessments that allow organizations to leverage their strengths while simultaneously addressing their weaknesses in order to improve financial performance. Simione’s areas of expertise include, budgeting, data analytics and benchmarking, and his extensive work with SimiTree has included development of comprehensive financial, clinical, and staffing analysis tools to improve client efficiencies and financial performance. Michael Simione has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from Bucknell University, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Quinnipiac University.
