With recent reforms and programming changes, Home Care has faced numerous challenges that have drastically altered how we develop and deliver care. In Home Health, PDGM inverted the HH model, then VBP introduced a Pay-for-Performance element payment, and now, MSPB-PAC tracks HH spending to affect reimbursement. These types of reforms, combined with societal factors, have also changed the game for Private Duty and DME Providers. Kimberly is an experienced home health clinical consultant and serves as Executive Clinical Director for Home Health Strategic Management. She has over 30 years of experience in home health, including 8 years as an agency administrator. Her expertise includes utilization management and operational excellence, with notable achievements such as deficiency free regulatory surveys and a very low audit error rate. Kimberly is also a contributor to industry publications and presents nationally on home care topics and future CMS/MedPac care models.
