This program explores how AI-enabled workflows can strengthen care delivery across the patient journey, from intake and triage to documentation, compliance, and follow-up.
Healthcare is at a turning point, where AI can either deepen fragmentation or help return the human to the bedside. This program explores how AI-enabled workflows can strengthen care delivery across the patient journey, from intake and triage to documentation, compliance, and follow-up. It will examine how human-centered AI can reduce cognitive load, preserve clinical voice, support clearer decision-making, surface risk earlier, and improve both patient and caregiver experience. Rather than replacing the care team, AI has the potential to function as an active partner, augmenting human judgment, improving quality and consistency, and helping shape a more connected future of care.
This program meets continuing education requirements for Administrators and Alternates under Texas HCSSA licensing regulations.
Bud Langham, Enzo Health
Bud is a physical therapist by training who began his career in acute care before making his way to home health as a field clinician. Bud’s foundation in this industry is clinical, not administrative. He has seen care from the bedside, and that perspective has shaped everything he’s done since.
Over the course of his career, Bud has served as Executive Vice President for a publicly traded home health and hospice organization, leading teams focused on clinical excellence, strategy, and innovation. He’s had the privilege of working alongside some of the best people in this industry, and doesn’t take that lightly. Bud has served on boards, contributed to multiple CMS Technical Expert Panels, and remains actively engaged in shaping the future of home-based care through his work as a Health Evolution Fellow and member of the Coalition for Health AI (CHAI). He also serves as a senior advisor to several companies working to change this industry for the better, including CareBestie and Enzo Health.
