A new chapter of hospice quality reporting has begun. With the transition from HIS to the Hospice Outcomes and Patient Evaluation (HOPE) tool on October 1, providers are entering an era that demands not just compliance but clarity, strategy, and forward thinking. This webinar breaks down the essential requirements of HOPE and will share early lessons from its first weeks in action.

It explores key updates shaping the Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP), including the evolving role of the Hospice Care Index (HCI) and important changes to Hospice CAHPS.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain the evolving role of the Hospice Care Index (HCI) and analyze its impact on quality measurement, performance outcomes, and benchmarking strategies.
  • Summarize the latest updates to Hospice CAHPS, including the integration of web-based survey options and modifications to question design.
