In this informative session, Attorney Brian Aslin will review the key tenets of several important employment law regulations providing you not only a clear understanding of each but also practical takeaways that can be utilized by organizations to be better positioned and protected from missteps. About the Presenter(s): Brian Aslin

Brian A. Aslin is a labor and employment attorney with a record of achieving success for clients as lead counsel before juries, judges, and appellate courts. Brian represents Fortune 50 corporations and small businesses alike, providing responsive, practical counsel to employers with a focus on the technology and healthcare sectors. Brian’s substantial courtroom experience distinguishes him from his peers as a credible and persuasive advocate who leads client matters with confidence. Brian has served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas where his practice focused on high-impact employment litigation. At the Office of the Attorney General, he obtained successful results for clients at jury trial, appellate oral argument, and in hearings on emergency temporary restraining orders, temporary injunctions, and dispositive motions—all as attorney-in-charge. Brian’s clients included Texas’s flagship university systems, nationally top-ranked medical centers, and statewide elected officials. A former prosecutor, Brian began his career as an Assistant District Attorney where he achieved an undefeated first-chair jury trial record. On top of his success in the courtroom, Brian was appointed to manage a team of prosecutors and staff as a Court Chief. Brian earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Barristers, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance with a minor in Religion from Baylor University. In 2023, Brian was elected a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
