No Client Left Behind: Taking QAPI Seriously in PAS

[3626] No Client Left Behind: Taking QAPI Seriously in PAS
Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) is often treated as a chore...but it's so much more than that! Presentation Info: TAHC&H Winter Conference 2022 | Dallas | Recorded for On-Demand Access Presentation Date | February 24, 2022 Program Description: Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) is often treated as a chore we have to "check off the list" to remain in compliance with regulations. But it's so much more than that. There's a reason that every successful organization in the world uses some version of QAPI as a measuring tool to continue to evolve and adapt in an ever-changing environment. Just because you don't bill medical insurance, doesn't mean that QAPI is less important than it is for home health and hospice. Private Duty agencies have a different, and in some ways deeper obligation to their clientele than medical providers. You're in their homes for extended periods of time, and become involved in many areas of their lives, including their general wellbeing. With this in mind, you'll learn how analyzing QA information and applying improved performance measures to the whole spectrum of service will not only enhance the quality of care you provide, but foster loyalty amongst your clients and employees. Actionable VBP BI Dashboards: Understanding & Taking Action on KPIs That Lead to Success

[3624] Actionable VBP Business Intelligence Dashboards: Understanding and Taking Action on KPIs That Lead to Success
This presentation is a must for those wishing to streamline their operations and achieve VBP financial success. Presentation Info: TAHC&H Winter Conference 2022 | Dallas | Recorded for On-Demand Access Presentation Date | February 24, 2022 Program Description: Information overload describes the excess of information available to a person aiming to complete a task or make a decision; resulting in a poor decision or no decision being made. This often happens in the fast-paced world of home care operations. Leaders are inundated from metrics from multiple sources that are often not actionable and not concurrent. This leads to no action and poor outcomes. Understanding the value of KPIs is the first step to successful outcomes. Developing a business intelligence dashboard that contains the Metrics that Matter in the new world of Value Based Purchasing is the next and most critical step. Metrics should be easy to understand and lead operators to implement corrective action concurrently. Thus, turning a possible negative outcome into a positive one. Participants will walk away with an understanding of root cause analysis and multi contributing factors affecting metrics so that they can apply rapid corrective action measures. This presentation is a must for those wishing to streamline their operations and achieve VBP financial success.
