Nixon, RN -BSN, CALM – CDP, MBA will combine and explain what Texas Health and Human Services as well as the Texas Board of Nursing says about RN Delegation. She offers a clinical explanation and strategy on how HCSSAs can safely implement RN Delegation and Health Maintenance Activities into their operations to grow their communities and allow their clients to age in place. About the Presenter(s): Pat Nixon RN – BSN, MBA is the owner of iNurse Delegate, delegating and training more than twenty Assisted Living and Personal Assistance Agencies across Texas. She has strategically studied the regulations from both Texas Health and Human Services as well as the Texas Board of Nursing to debunk the mysteries behind safe and effective delegation. She maintains her Certification in Assisted Living Management and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner.

She has spoken across Texas educating nurses, managers, and senior care operators on RN Delegation and how it can be used to grow their Assisted Living or Personal Assistance Service Agency. Having successfully operated assisted living facilities, home health agencies, and personal care agencies, Pat is an expert on the regulations and legislation affecting senior care. As an RN, Pat holds a clinical background in the management of geriatric patients in both acute care, home health and hospice settings.
