Program Description: In this session you'll discover a safe space to hear about and talk about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). After a brief overview of DEI, attendees are invited to complete a self-assessment to explore their readiness for the Inclusive Leadership journey. Ms West shares how clarity of values and mastery of distinct traits can equip today’s leaders to become catalysts for meaningful change and a more effective fight against bias and discrimination.

About the Presenter(s):
Belinda West
's career as a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist has spanned more than 35 years. Settings include psychiatric, acute care, burns, SNF, school-based, adult, and pediatric home health. As the Clinical Quality Director, for Thrive SPC, Belinda provides leadership, consultation, regulatory support, staff education, and program development. She frequently speaks on ethics, clinical excellence, and personal development topics for a variety of entities across the country.She is the Founder of Occupation Humanity, LLC (in launch phase), which provides DEI consultation and experiential programming committed to fighting healthcare disparity.She proudly served on the TAHCH Education and Pediatric Committees in the past and was accepted to resume service on the Pediatric Committee in 2019. Belinda is also honored to serve as the Chair of the TAHCH DEI Task Force, which was formed in 2020.
