Program Description: Length of stay is one of the primary determinants in a hospice agency's clinical, quality, and financial success.
The most effective way to impact the length of stay is by stratifying referral source types. This presentation details best practice approaches to effecting change in the average
and median length of stay through analysis of current census and referral source diversification. Participants will be able to describe their agency’s length of stay patterns as
they relate to referral sources and apply best practice approaches to stratify length of stay in multiple referral source types.
