Program Description: Management of the home health revenue cycle is an evolving challenge and must be effective. Cash flow optimization efforts must be balanced against compliance threats. The complexity of the revenue cycle continues to change with the onslaught of new payers. When processes are not effectively managed the agency’s cash flow can suffer significantly. The CMS Targeted Probe and Educate (TPE) initiative and the possible implementation of the Review Choice Demonstration has heightened the potential risks of poor revenue cycle or documentation management practices. You can’t afford to ignore this presentation as it dissects the home health revenue cycle.

Program Learning Outcome:

  • Participants will actively participate in the learning activity and apply best practices for documentation management processes.
