With focus on compliance in our world today, setting the standard for basic infection control practices is crucial. Key infection prevention strategies are presented to assist in the management of re-hospitalization rates, patient satisfaction and quality patient care. The presenter also demonstrates how providers, practitioners, patients and lawmakers are all currently involved in this issue. About the Presenter:
Freda Kelley
has been a Registered Nurse since 1975 and has personal experience with the changes of infection prevention and control practice over the years. Her focused area of practice in home care began in 1985. It was her initial experience as a PRN field nurse in a small, hospital-based home healthcare agency in rural West Texas that set her professional future. Freda has served as a Branch Agency Director, Administrator, Supervising Nurse and now as Vice-President of Clinical Services of a home care organization in Ft. Worth.
