[1585] Hospice: Practical Solutions to Regulatory Change
Subscription Type:Individual
Faculty: Spears
New program initiatives, revised licensure standards, federal rule changes–the realities
are mind boggling! What often seems like a minor regulatory change can catapult the hospice administrator into a world of policy
revision, staff training, medical community education, and, cost of care upticks. This program provides focus on the challenges
the hospice administrator will meet to stay up-to-date with changes while continuing to move the hospice program into improved
compliance. From policy & procedure changes required to comply with NAR and EMC checks to implementing new face-to-face encounters in
2011, planning for pediatric palliative care initiatives under development in the state, to PECOS worries & CAP challenges, the hospice
administrator is challenged more than ever to keep current and be swift with compliance. This program is designed to provide solutions
of regulatory change. Proposed or real regulatory changes will be reviewed with “how to comply options” laid out for the administrator’s review.
