This presentation reveals an open discussion between an experience mergers and acquisitions broker and an experienced mergers and acquisitions attorney in the home health and hospice fields. Both discuss: why someone might want to sell their agency why someone might want to buy an agency when someone might not want to sell their agency when a potential purchaser may decide if a particular agency is worth what the seller wants While they discuss the regulatory ins and outs of the process, they will also discuss the practical side in making a decision to either buy or sell an agency. Program Learning Outcome: Participants will actively engage in the discussion by identifying the complexities of a successful merger or acquisition of a home care agency.
