While we do not have an exact tool or an exact date of implementation, this program does discuss what is happening now with HEART, how it will be used, what might be in the tool, and a possible timeline. Lessons learned from other provider types about mandated standardized assessments is shared with suggestions for preparation specific to hospices. The presentation incorporates lessons learned so far in the hospice quality reporting program.
