Presentation Info:
TAHC&H Virtual Event | Hospice Academy 2021 | Recorded for On-Demand Access
Presentation Date | April 14, 2021
Program Description: As hospice professionals, we comfort family members suffering through
the sadness and grief related to the death of a loved one. The bereavement program we provide helps them cope and eventually thrive
in their new normal. It is hard but fulfilling work. All too often, bereavement services are not seen as a vital role of hospice care.
What if the bereavement program is reevaluated, along with the role of the bereavement coordinator? What if bereavement services can
be viewed in a new way? The concepts provided in this webinar will help your bereavement program to thrive and grow while serving
those dealing with death in a meaningful way. In this session, we will discuss the role of the bereavement program and adding the
bereavement coordinator as a member of the hospice team, what regulations say about bereavement services, and how to breathe
new life into bereavement services by viewing it from a different perspective.

TAHC&H Faculty/Presenter(s): Brian Bruenderman, Stoneridge Partners & Joe Lynch, Stoneridge Partners
About the Presenter(s): Brian Bruenderman brings almost 20 years of M&A experience to Stoneridge Partners - nearly a decade has been devoted exclusively to companies serving the health and human services arena.
Brian Bruenderman joined Stoneridge Partners after a successful stint as Director of Business Development for Almost Family, a leading provider of home health nursing, rehabilitation and personal care services with over 250 locations in 15 states. During his tenure, despite much uncertainty in the home health industry at the time, Almost Family acquired $160 million in annual revenues, including the largest transaction in the company’s history.
Prior to Almost Family, Bruenderman was the Senior Director of Development for ResCare, Inc., a national human services company with more than $1.6 billion in revenue and operations in 42 states. Bruenderman's strategic approach to developing new markets through selective acquisitions led to $350 million in growth for ResCare and launched the company into the Fortune 1000. Today, he has been involved in the purchase of over 125 health and human service companies.
Bruenderman received his Bachelor of Arts degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville. While in college, he purchased several small businesses and credits his later success to that experience. His business background and legal education give him the skills and perspective to successfully negotiate transactions all the way through closing. Specifically, his almost two decades of involvement with strategic buyers gives him a unique insight into how they approach valuation, diligence and negotiation. This combination of education and experience makes him a valuable addition to any transaction.
Bruenderman runs the Louisville office.
About the Presenter(s): Joe Lynch has more than 30 years of healthcare expertise.
At Stoneridge Partners, he brings experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, finance, regulatory compliance, human resources

steadily grew Reachout through both acquisition and organic growth into three operating companies in Dallas and Houston, employing
more than 170 health care workers. In 2014, he sold his company to Humana. Throughout his career, he has been a leader in revenue
growth and expansion via start-ups, acquisitions and organic growth through marketing and sales in both public and private companies. He
has worked in the health care industry for decades and brings his vast experience along with a high degree of professionalism to each transaction.

This presentation will change your agency today and tomorrow.
Presentation Info:
TAHC&H Winter Conference 2022 | Dallas | Recorded for On-Demand Access
Presentation Date | February 23, 2022
Program Description: Prior to the pandemic, most PDGM education focused on billing or coding aspects of the reform,
with little attention to operational and care delivery requirements. As a result, many HH clinicians don’t understand exactly how PDGM works; the Value-based Operational changes,
and the legacy HH approaches that compromise clinical and fiscal outcomes. With most Providers just returning to a pre-2020 level of care, many of these operational requirements remain un-addressed.
This program addresses areas that directly affect quality care outcomes under PDGM, from both a front-line delivery and in-office managerial aspect. Learn how to hardwire for
tangible results, driving costs down and fiscal margins up, while you improve Star Ratings with single digit readmissions. Learn PDGM Strategies to address case-Mix,
POC development and in-episode control and wound management thru Case Studies and Outcome statistics.
