Continuing Education programs are offered for (1) a designated Administrator or Alternate who must comply with TAC §558.260, and (2) a prior administrator or alternate not currently designated but maintaining compliance with TAC §558.260, and (3) anyone who wants to improve their knowledge on a broad range of topics specific to TX HCSSAs.
Continuing Education programs come from TAHC&H conferences & events to address a broad range of topics specific to Texas HCSSAs administrative responsibilities. Programs are added throughout the year as each conference/event concludes. All programs provide TX HCSSA Administration CE credits and many also provide Nurse CE. All programs are à la carte, that is, you have the flexibility to browse and order programs that suit your specific needs and are applicable to your role and responsibility. in cybersecurity, skilled in information security program implementation, quantifiable measurement, and strategic advancement. He helps implement quantifiable
information security programs with guaranteed improvement as well as successfully guides organizations through the alignment of security controls and regulatory
requirements. Examples include CIS CSC 18, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and HIPAA. Wayne has helped organizations develop policies, procedures, reporting

Sherry Teague, a native Floridian, is the CFO and co-owner of K&K Health Care Solutions. Sherry has been the driving factor in both
her and Dee’s movement from employment to ownership – first with a contract rehabilitation company (Integrity Rehab, Inc.) that provided physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language
pathology services to local home health agencies in Marion and Citrus counties, and then into their own home health agency, founded in 2003. In 2009, Sherry was honored with the Marion County Chamber
of Commerce “Small Business Person of the Year” Award. Sherry is dedicated to taking the pain out of continuing education for health care clinicians and administration by leveraging technology and
meeting customer needs. Sherry has a strong sense of community service, as evidenced by her volunteer status as an athletic trainer at Citrus High School for over 13 years, as well as her membership
with Rotary International that exemplifies service above self. Sherry received her athletic training certification from Valdosta State University (GA) in 1989, and her Masters in Exercise and

Program Description: This program presents the components of the Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP) and the financial impact
for hospice providers who do not meet the reporting requirements. You will learn the changes in the HQRP that were finalized in the Hospice FY 2023 payment rule
including the new Hospice Care Index (claims-based) measure, an update on the Hospice Visits in the Last Days of Life (HVLDL) measure, STAR rating for the

About the Presenter(s): Leslie Heagy is Registered Nurse who joined Healthcare Provider Solutions, Inc. (HPS), as the Clinical Services Manager,

In 2022, Leslie was promoted to Director of Clinical Services over both home health and hospice clinical consulting.
Leslie’s commitment to service and compassionate leadership first took root 21 years ago when she began providing care to patients as a hospice nurse after
receiving her nursing degree from Ivy Tech Community College in Columbus, Indiana. Throughout her nursing career, she has worked in various capacities within the home health,
hospice and private duty industries. Her experience includes successfully opening a Medicare/Medicaid licensed hospice start-up program, leading multidisciplinary teams
in various locations to being part of the team to open a new hospice inpatient unit. She has educated hospitals, skilled facilities, assisted living facilities
and the community on the benefits and requirements for home health and hospice services. Leslie’s extensive Federal and State Regulatory knowledge, along
with her vast clinical experience motivates her to continually seek solutions to the barriers of healthcare in all settings.
Leslie has operational experience in the survey process for Medicare/Medicaid licensed agencies and has assisted agencies in developing/implementing
corrective action plans. Her experience includes clinical consulting, performing clinical chart reviews, onsite billing audit reviews, provider education, developing and

About the Presenters: Speech-language pathologist Cortney Baker, MS, CCC/SLP,
is the owner of KidsCare Therapy, a pediatric home care agency in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Cortney has been in health care for 10
years with experience as both a clinician as well as Administrator. At KidsCare Therapy, she has been integral in building the clinical
development programs. Cortney currently oversees the daily operations of the agency and has served on the Pediatric Committee for TAHCH
since the inception of the committee.
Belinda Williams, OTR, has more than 25 years of experience in a variety of health care settings including psych, geriatric, acute and
pediatric. To date she has specialized in pediatric care for more than 15 years and still enjoys evaluating and treating.
Belinda recently completed certification in AOTA’s Fieldwork Educator Certificate Program and is matriculating toward a double MBA
in Leadership and Healthcare Administration. She has facilitated trainings for Texas OT Association, TOTA Trinity North District,
TWU, the Infant Mental Health Advocacy Conference, school districts and numerous organizations purposed for the betterment of children’s
physical and mental health.
