designing a plan to address the conditions and challenges of change itself.
This presentation is about you and what you can do to make positive change happen for yourself and your organization.
It focuses on the link between purpose and change, getting you in shape, enlisting people to support you, to perform, help facilitate change, and enjoy the process.

Program Description: Do you ever worry that your caregivers could be “crossing the line” when
it comes to assistance with self-administration of certain medications? Do your staff really provide “hand-over-hand” assistance with eye drops
and inhalers? What about those clients who need their oral medications crushed or put in food? If you own a PAS in Texas, and you’re not yet
providing RN Delegation as a specialty program, then you could be doing your clients a dis-service, or unknowingly breaking the rules. Our
primary goal in PAS is make the lives of our clients and their families simpler. So, if we “draw the line” at those much-needed tasks that
must be delegated, then are we really giving them the best service we can?

The most effective way to impact the length of stay is by stratifying referral source types. This presentation details best practice approaches to effecting change in the average

selling an agency. This can make the task daunting, confusing, frustrating, and just downright confounding. This presentation reveals an
open discussion between an experience mergers and acquisitions broker and an experienced mergers and acquisitions attorney in the home health and hospice fields. Both discuss:

why someone might want to buy an agency
when someone might not want to sell their agency
when a potential purchaser may decide if a particular agency is worth what the seller wants
While they discuss the regulatory ins and outs of the process, they will also discuss the practical side in making a decision to either buy or sell an agency.
Program Learning Outcome:
Participants will actively engage in the discussion by identifying the complexities of a successful merger or acquisition of a home care agency.
