Sue Payne joined the Corridor team in December 2016 as part of the Transpirus acquisition where she served as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services. In her role, Sue is responsible for clinical quality and business review to assure client satisfaction. She also serves as the Corporate Compliance Officer. Sue has over 25 years in home care operations and strategic leadership. Prior to her role at Corridor, Sue was the Vice President of Home Health at Advanced Home Care and at Life Care at Home, both of which are multi-state home care providers. Prior to that, she was the Administrative Director at Bon Secours Home Care which is a multi-site hospital based home care agency. She has experience with hospital based, long term care and privately held home care companies. Sue was the recipient of the 2011 Leadership Award from the Association for Home & Hospice Care of North Carolina. She has presented nationally at Press Ganey, Visiting Nurses Association of America, American Congress of Healthcare Executives, and State Associations on topics such as preventing avoidable readmissions, value based purchasing, staffing retention and early careerist mentoring. This program explores not only addressing the expectations of patients and their families, but also addressing the increasing expectations of payers. J. Robert Parkey is a sixth-generation native of the Wichita Falls area, and received his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and then completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Oklahoma campus in Tulsa, where he served as Chief Resident. In 2010, he completed a Masters degree in Theological Studies from the University of Dallas in Irving, with a personal emphasis in Biomedical Ethics. Dr. Parkey practiced rural medicine in Henrietta, Texas for 17 years, but found a special love for the care of the elderly, those with dementia, and for patients with terminal and life-limiting illnesses, expanding his medical specialization and joining the medical staff of Hospice of Wichita Falls in 2008, then closing his rural practice in 2013. He is a member of numerous medical societies, including the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care, the American Geriatrics Society, the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities, and the Catholic Medical Association. His “spare time” is filled caring for his family ranch in Clay County, and trying to keep up with his wife Katie (a Registered Nurse who helps him run his private practice and who serves in a number of volunteer capacities in the area) and their three daughters. His hobbies include fishing and literature, and he is a member of the Wichita Falls Poetry Society, the Texas Poetry Society, and the Academy of American Poets. Brian Bruenderman brings almost 20 years of M&A experience to Stoneridge Partners - nearly a decade has been devoted exclusively to companies serving the health and human services arena. Brian Bruenderman joined Stoneridge Partners after a successful stint as Director of Business Development for Almost Family, a leading provider of home health nursing, rehabilitation and personal care services with over 250 locations in 15 states. During his tenure, despite much uncertainty in the home health industry at the time, Almost Family acquired $160 million in annual revenues, including the largest transaction in the company’s history. Prior to Almost Family, Bruenderman was the Senior Director of Development for ResCare, Inc., a national human services company with more than $1.6 billion in revenue and operations in 42 states. Bruenderman's strategic approach to developing new markets through selective acquisitions led to $350 million in growth for ResCare and launched the company into the Fortune 1000. Today, he has been involved in the purchase of over 125 health and human service companies. Bruenderman received his Bachelor of Arts degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville. While in college, he purchased several small businesses and credits his later success to that experience. His business background and legal education give him the skills and perspective to successfully negotiate transactions all the way through closing. Specifically, his almost two decades of involvement with strategic buyers gives him a unique insight into how they approach valuation, diligence and negotiation. Joe Lynch has more than 30 years of healthcare expertise. At Stoneridge Partners, he brings experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, finance, regulatory compliance, human resources and business development. After receiving his Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi, Joe began his career working closely with corporate management to successfully grow OrNda Healthcorp’s (now Tenet’s) home health care presence. In 1997, he founded Reachout Home Care, a Medicare and private duty agency, where he served as co-owner and CEO. Over the next 17 years, Joe steadily grew Reachout through both acquisition and organic growth into three operating companies in Dallas and Houston, employing more than 170 health care workers. In 2014, he sold his company to Humana. Throughout his career, he has been a leader in revenue growth and expansion via start-ups, acquisitions and organic growth through marketing and sales in both public and private companies.
